VOLUX Lighting, a division of Dynamic Visual Solutions, is the newest and fastest-growing stage lighting manufacturer providing valuable, innovative intelligent lighting solutions for a wide variety of entertainment and commercial markets.

The Regional Sales Representative – West Coast will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and representing the Volux Lighting brand throughout the industry while aligning with the company goals for revenue and quality of service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive demand for our products by being an educator within the industry, creating sales opportunities, and building strong relationships with production companies, designers, integrators, specifiers, and end-users.
  • Maintain and expand customer base within the territory to close profitable sales.
  • Travel throughout the territory for in-person meetings with decision-makers and to execute live demonstrations of our products.
  • Analyze industry trends and discover new opportunities for growth within the territory and the company.
  • Collaborate with upper management to forecast sales, inventory, and profitability.
  • Maintain continuous knowledge of the company’s products and services, both from a technical and sales perspective.
  • Work with various teams within the company to achieve pre- and post-sales objectives with exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving sales goals and improving customer satisfaction.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies and approaches accordingly.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in products, services, or sales processes and relay this information to the relevant departments.
  • Attend tradeshows and company-sponsored events.

Requirements & Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years in Industry Experience (e.g. Stage Lighting, Live Events, Pro Audio, Video, LED, Integration) in a Sales, Business Development or related capacity.
  • Proficiency with programming moving light consoles and lighting fixtures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent closing skills; Good persuasion skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office & CRM Systems
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License & Passport

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with MA Lighting Consoles
  • Previous Manufacturer Experience
  • NetSuite Experience
  • Prior Project Management Experience

Working Conditions:

  • Remote Position, Qualifying Applications must reside in the territory and be reasonably located near a major airport.
  • Travel Required (≥40%)
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
  • Occasionally required to stand while on-site for shows and demonstrations.

VOLUX Lighting, a division of Dynamic Visual Solutions, is the newest and fastest-growing stage lighting manufacturer, providing valuable, innovative, intelligent lighting solutions for a wide variety of entertainment and commercial markets.

The Product Resource Specialist will serve as the liaison for all technical aspects of the company’s product line. This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical assets, including documentation, technical files, firmware versions, and database libraries. They will also support cross-functional departments and customers for product feedback, lifecycle improvement, troubleshooting assistance, and product application inquiries.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain all product documentation and assets, including User Manuals, Training Materials, CAD Files, 3D Models DMX Charts, etc.
  • Create and maintain DMX/GTDF Personalties across multiple console platforms.
  • Oversee creation, publishing, and updates to console or industry database libraries (Capture, Vectorworks, Depence, etc.)
  • Test products for DMX Personality accuracy, file matching, and firmware compliance.
  • Collaborate with product management on product improvements, customer feedback, and technical matters.
  • Maintain company service portal with Technical Service Bulletins, Troubleshooting Guides and Self-Serve Resources.
  • Work with various teams within the company to achieve pre- and post-sales support objectives with exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving customer-service goals and improving customer satisfaction.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Product Support across Service and Technical Support teams.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Department to create product training resources (Videos, Guides, etc.)
  • Participate in company training events and provide training to dealers.
  • Attend tradeshows and company-sponsored events.

Requirements & Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years in Stage Lighting Experience in a Technical or related capacity.
  • Strong Proficiency with programming of all moving light consoles and lighting fixtures.
  • Strong understanding of DMX, Art-Net, Streaming ACN, RDM Protocols
  • Proficiency in various CAD and 3D Modeling Software programs
  • Ability to create DMX & GDTF Profiles
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, PDF Creation, and File formatting.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License & Passport

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with MA Lighting Consoles
  • GDTF File Creation Experience
  • Photometric Measuring Equipment Experience

Working Conditions:

  • On-Site Role: Must reside in the area and be able to report to the company’s offices up to 5 days per week.
  • Travel Required (~20%)
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
